This was a knock down and rebuild project for Elysium Designed.  When we met Jeff and Emma they had spent considerable time contemplating their new home (10 years in fact) and they had already engaged Josh from Vision 1 Architects to design the perfect home to replace the post war house.

Because it had taken considerable time to get the project to this stage, they already had architectural drawings, engineering designs, DA approval and a detailed builder’s scope of works document.  So, they only needed a dependable builder to undertake the demolition of the existing house and the construction of their new home.

The house and land was purchased by our clients 9 years previously.  The 531m2 flat block was already home to an existing 3 bedroom post war house which we needed to demolish to make way for a new house and swimming pool.

The client’s brief was relatively simple for their Architect Josh White from Vision 1.  Design a family home which would comfortably fit the new 5 bedroom house on the block and still have a reasonable size back yard, including a swimming pool, for their four school aged children to play in.

The result was a house designed over four levels which effectively provided multi-purpose spaces for the entire family to relax and enjoy, a design and layout which allowed for the 4 children’s bedrooms to easily fit on a separate level and cleverly designed outdoor spaces that encompassed the amazing city views from the rear deck and the glorious morning sunrises and breezes enjoyed from the master suite verandah.

This is the first time we have built a new house and are so pleased we went with Elysium Designed; the planning and building process was a breeze due to the excellent efforts and dedication of Paul and Lisa.

From the very beginning Elysium Designed was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the building process. They took the time to listen to our needs and presented us several options for us to consider. Elysium Designed always went above and beyond, communicating with us regularly to ensure our needs were met.

Paul and Lisa were extremely helpful throughout the entire building process. They were more than willing to answer any questions and represented themselves and Elysium Designed in an honest and professional manner.
